This is a Don Cherry Scandinavian radio session from 1971 which I discovered browsing through some out-of-the-way internet site and fell in love with right away.

This second movement, known as "The Whole World Catalogue" just seemed to be crying out for a storyline, so I sat down to write it. In the absence of the seventy year old native American I had hoped for, I've recorded the words myself. Maybe I'll have another crack at it in 30 years time.

Of course, mucking about with a great work like this is even worse than colouring in a black and white pen drawing, but at least I'm consistant in my lack of respect for genius.
